GOLD CANYON Arizona SEWER PROPOSED INCREASE: Gold Canyon Homeowners! Mark November 13, 2007, 10:00 A.M. on your calendars! RUCO’s request for a re-hearing on two issues will be argued. RUCO will be arguing that the Gold Canyon Sewer Company didn’t have to add excess capacity to meet the needs of customers and the aggressive billings of legal fees as well as the costs of construction by corporate entities. If three of the five commissioners agree with RUCO’s arguments, the ACC will possibly reduce the fees now being charged.

The recent sewer rate increase in Gold Canyon raised the cost of Gold Canyon residential home service from the rate of $35 per month to $70.34 per month. Residential houses of 700 square feet or less were increased from $19.09 per month to $38.37.


Mountain Brook Village, the 55+ community in Gold Canyon, will be sending a bus to the hearings. Residents of Mountain Brook Village will have a priority for seating; any remaining seats will be offered to residents of Gold Canyon, AZ, outside of the Mountain Brook Community.
